Surprise

Just thought I would do this more regularly so I don't forget "how to" it.
I had a fairly busy week at work. Doing 4-9 hours days is sometimes very tiring, which brings me to my current state of affairs, tired!!!! I have felt very tired for the last 3 days. However I did press on with my plans to do monthly cooking.
On Friday I went to Frieda's and did cooking. I really like to try new recipes so I was sure to try some new ones along with a few old standbys. Frieda on the other hand likes to have the same old ones. when it is at your house you tend to start before the other person gets there and she really accomplished several dishes before I arrived. I also thru in some desserts which Frieda didn't have time to do. So I'll try to dazzle your dad with some new offerings of Almond Chicken Casserole, Spinach squares, quinoa stuffed peppers, chicken barley chili, chicken divan, Meatloaf italiano, turkey meatloaf, and a spinach lasagna. There is also blackbery cobbler and an herb bread in the freezer. I'll work on the rest on the menu slowly this week. Doing this really helps me be more regular with food offerings at dinner time as well as having leftovers for lunches.

Birthday Parties

Well, was that a wondrful 3 years old party I went to yesterday! This Grandma had lots of fun on the bouncey things, even after my husband warned me of overdoing it. this morning I really noticed if upon getting out of bed. I thought to myself what could I have one to sore this morning???????????? I even noticed it this afternoon when lifting my arms (could it be from lifting grandchildren) and walking upstairs at church(climbing the ladder with smalll child). It's probably a good thing I exercise at Curves regularly. It could be worse! Oh, one forgets all the muscles used in tha caring of children on a daily basis! None th les I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the party. They have surely changed since my youth!
Thank you for the invite. If Gracie enjoyed it half as much as I did it was worth it. I hope you parents survived the day.
Gracie is sure a sweet, very energetic little girl who will continue to bloom where she is planted. We love her very much. Teacup
